Research Areas

Pervasive Intelligence Laboratory is a research group at NAIST focused on intelligent information infrastructures. We integrate sensing, networking, and security technologies to design intelligence that functions reliably in the real world.

Currently, the following projects are underway. Students are welcome to join existing projects, but we also respect their initiative in exploring and developing their own research topics.

TRALICO

TRALICO

Mitigating congestion in Istanbul by combining AI-based traffic prediction with reinforcement learning for adaptive traffic signal control.

Indoor Localization

Developing smartphone-based indoor positioning method that fuse radiowaves, geomagnetic, and barometric signals to achieve accurate localozation on consumer devices.

Bus Bigdata

Ttransforming public buses into mobile sensing platforms to understand urban dynamics, predict operations and demand, and enable intelligent transportation services.
